Ford has launched a new Ford Kuga Graphite Tech Edition with exclusive design features and a plug-in hybrid powertrain. The new model combines the efficiency and environmental benefits of electrification with the versatility and spaciousness of a crossover SUV.
The Ford Kuga Graphite Tech Edition is based on the popular Kuga ST-Line X model but adds some distinctive elements to make it stand out from the crowd. The exterior features a Graphite Grey body color, 19-inch alloy wheels with a black finish, black roof rails, and darkened rear windows. The interior gets a leather steering wheel, partial leather seats, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.
The Ford Kuga Graphite Tech Edition is powered by a 2.5-liter Atkinson-cycle gasoline engine and an electric motor, which together produce 225 horsepower. The plug-in hybrid system can deliver an electric-only range of up to 56 kilometers (35 miles), according to the WLTP test cycle, and a combined fuel economy of 1.4 liters per 100 kilometers (168 mpg). The battery can be recharged in about 3.5 hours using a 230-volt outlet.
