Electric cars are no longer a niche market for eco-conscious consumers. They are becoming more mainstream, affordable, and desirable every year. And one of the brands that is leading the way in this revolution is Citroen, with its new e-C3 model.
What is the Citroen Social Electric formula?
The e-C3 is not just another electric car. It is a car that offers a unique and revolutionary proposal: the “Citroen Social Electric” formula. This formula is designed to make electric mobility accessible to all, regardless of their budget, lifestyle, or location. It is a formula that combines a low monthly fee, a preferential interest rate, state incentives, and a flexible contract that allows the customer to choose what to do with the car after three years.
But that’s not all. The Citroen e-C3 also simplifies the electric experience by integrating a wallbox for home charging, which reduces the cost and hassle of recharging the battery. And speaking of the battery, the e-C3 boasts a range of over 320 km (WLTP combined cycle - currently being approved), which is more than enough for both urban and long-distance trips. The fast charging system allows the battery to go from 20 to 80% in just 26 minutes, making it easy to top up on the go.
How does the e-C3 stand out from the crowd?
The e-C3 is not only a smart and practical car but also a stylish and comfortable one. It is the first car to feature the new distinctive Citroen logo, which reflects the brand’s identity and values. It also has a modern and attractive design, with two trim levels: You and Max. The You version is the entry-level option, with a price tag starting from 23,900 euros, without considering state incentives. The Max version is the premium option, with a price tag starting from 28,400 euros. Both versions offer space and comfort on board, as well as the best of technology, such as the Citroen Advanced Comfort® suspension, which ensures a smooth and pleasant ride.
The Citroen e-C3 is not a car that compromises on performance either. It has a powerful electric motor that delivers 83 kW / 113 HP, which translates into great driving pleasure. The motor is powered by a 44 kWh battery, which is perfectly suited for both urban daily use and long journeys. The battery is also integrated into a highly modular platform, which was conceived from the start to accommodate a 100% electric powertrain. This is one of the secrets of the car’s accessibility, as it reduces production costs and complexity.
